The Initial Spark: An Idea Needing Form
CareConnect Startups approached with a compelling vision for a remote patient monitoring tool. The immediate challenge was to translate this idea into a functional, testable prototype that could clearly communicate value to both potential users and investors, all under significant time and budget constraints.

Our Approach: Lean UX for Rapid Validation
We adopted a Lean UX methodology, focusing on core user stories for both patients and clinicians. Iterative design sprints in Figma allowed for quick wireframing, UI design, and the development of a clickable prototype. This prototype was then tested with a small, targeted group of users to gather immediate feedback.
“The goal was to fail fast, learn faster, and build a prototype that truly resonated.”
— Coriyon Arrington, Lead Designer
Key Activities & Links:
- User Story Mapping
- Rapid Prototyping in Figma
Outcome: Vision Validated, Funding Secured
The MVP prototype successfully validated the core concept with overwhelmingly positive user feedback. Crucially, the interactive prototype was instrumental in helping CareConnect Startups secure their pre-seed funding. The iterative feedback gathered also played a key role in refining the product direction before more extensive and costly development began.
